This story is about a young man, Vusumuzikayise, who has not yet married but is encouraged to rebuild his family home. He is advised that time is precious, and if a man wastes it, he will regret it even in death. He is told that living alone is not a man’s destiny, for life fades quickly like morning dew. He is urged to marry a wise woman who can care for a home, so that he may restore his father’s name and bring joy to his ailing mother. Taking a wife, he is reminded, is part of continuing the family legacy and building a stable future.

About the Author (English):
Abednigo Bulelani Dladla was born in the town of Port Shepstone, in the area of Oshabeni, within the Sithebeni valley under the leadership of Chief Lushaba. When he was only three years old, his family moved and settled in Mpakameni, also in Oshabeni, where he grew up. He began his early schooling at Cophela Primary School, but in 2011, his life changed when he suffered a stroke while still a very young boy. He later continued his primary education at Mbalencane C.P. School and completed his junior secondary studies at Duduzile J.S.S. Bulelani completed his matric at Mangquzuka High School. He developed a love for writing in 2019.
